Let me just say, I'm so glad it's a new month because I NEED to bullet journal! I kind of fell off the bullet journal bandwagon last month because of my vacation. I didn't bring my BUJO with me on vacation since it was all about rest and relaxation, but then I got back to town and my schedule just took over and my BUJO sat untouched. I ended up being sans a planner for about 1 week not counting vacation, and I felt very overwhelmed. I knew what my schedule was, but I was trying to make to do lists in my head and plan out my days and just couldn't think straight. So I knew that August would be the perfect time to jump back on the bandwagon, and I'm so excited about my August spreads!
For August, I kept my monthly spread pretty much the same. I like the format of having one page to write down appointments/events and one page to write down goals and things for the blog. I did remove the monthly to do that I used to have because I feel like I could just include those things under goals.
I decided to change up my weekly spread a bit this month. Last month I used a lot of clean lines and really liked the look of that, but I felt like I didn't have enough room to write down my daily to do lists. Also, I found I wasn't using the habit tracker nearly enough. So, I decided to get rid of the habit tracker to make more room for each day. I also decided to take away the meal planner for more room because I can just plan my meals on the days themselves. I'm really happy with how much room I have now for each day and love the simplicity of the spread.
To end the month, I have my gratitude log. One of these months I'm actually going to fill it out every night! I kept it exactly the same as last month, just changed the color (note about the color for this month: I started with orange and that was way to Halloween-y, so then I needed a color to cover the little bit of orange I had. Enter bright blue!).
So there are my August spreads! I wanted to give you a look of how they are before I fill in my schedules and lists, since usually I have some of that written down when I do my posts. If you like any of these spreads, don't forget to pin them to your Pinterest bullet journal board so you can use them as inspiration when you are planning!
