Ever since entering the "adult" world, I've heard time and time again about the importance of having an emergency savings account. I totally see the importance, yet it can be hard to save for an unknown purpose! If I want something specific, like a new pair of shoes or a new purse, I can save no problem. But saving for an emergency is saving for the unknown, and it's not very fun! Slowly but surely, I've been adding to my emergency savings account and wanted a way to track my progress. So I set my savings goal and created a tracking page in my bullet journal.
This tracker was actually super easy to make. i decided to do a mason jar because I just think they're cute and they're what I actually save my change in. I drew the outline and then decided to mark lines for set goal amounts (I went by $250). As I reach each milestone, I'll shade in more of the jar (I just shaded in a random amount for you all to see. You don't think I'd actually share what I have saved, do you?).
I'm so excited to continue shading in this tracker and visually see my progress. I think it's so much powerful to see my progress towards a goal visually than just seeing numbers on a page. What's great about this tracker is it could be adapted for whatever you need it to be. You could do different types of savings goals and can also adjust the amount of money you need to save. I could even see putting 3-4 smaller jars on a page and having each one show savings towards different goals. So what are you trying to save for?
