As I sat down to plan my next few blog posts, I realized that I better get my bullet journal ready for July because it's already in 2 days! June seemed to fly by, and I have to admit that I kind of fell behind on my BUJO. I think that my change in routine going from the school year to the summer left me a little lazy. However, it's almost a new month and it's going to be a busy one for me, so I wanted to create different spreads that were going to really help me stay organized and motivated in July. I'm really excited about how they turned out!

This month, I decided to change up my monthly spread. In past months, I have always drawn out a typical calendar because I like seeing important dates laid out visually. But as I was planning for July, I realized that I rarely look back on my monthly spread. I still keep track of my schedule on my phone so that I always know it on the go, so I don't really need to see everything laid out in my BUJO. I decided that I'd rather have more room on my monthly spread for monthly goals and to-dos so that I can stay motivated throughout the month. I still made room to write down important dates for the month in a list form, and then left plenty of room to write down goals and to-dos. I also created a separate place for blog to-dos since I haven't had a place for that before!
I really changed my weekly layout for July! Previously I had two days per page and I realized I just didn't need that much space for each day. So this month, I'm going to try fitting an entire week on two pages! I wanted everything to look clean and neat, so I used a lot of lines to create spaces for everything. One major change I made for this month is I put my habit tracker on each week. I FAILED to keep up with my Habit Tracker last month (in my defense, it was my first month using one). I decided to do a weekly Habit Tracker this month because I think it will be easier to maintain. I will see this Habit Tracker every time I open my BUJO to track daily to-do lists rather than having to flip back to a later page, so hopefully, I do better filling it out this month!
I contemplated changing my Gratitude Log to weekly like I did my Habit Tracker to help me keep up with it, but I really like the idea of looking back on my Gratitude Logs one day and seeing each month at once. So I decided to keep my Gratitude Log at the end of the month again, but I put filling it out in my Habit Tracker to help me remember! I went with a really simple look for this month's Gratitude Log to keep up with the simple lines of my monthly and weekly spreads. It looks a little plain now, but I can't wait to see it all filled out (because I WILL fill it out every day)!
So that is my July bullet journal update! I'm excited to see how my new designs help me stay organized and motivated for the month. Follow me on Instagram to see updates of how I use my BUJO throughout the month!
