I have always loved handwriting. Ever since I was little, I have experimented with my own handwriting, changing how I write my e's or a's, mixing capitals and lowercases, cursive and manuscript. Recently I've gotten really into hand lettering. It started when I was looking on Pinterest at ideas for my bullet journal and grew from there. I had no idea there were so many fun and simple ways to play with your handwriting and make it look professional!
Since discovering hand lettering, I have bought different pens and markers and completed countless practice worksheets. I started a notebook to keep all of my hand lettered creations in, and sometimes share my favorites on Instagram. To me, it's fun and relaxing, as well as a way to channel my artistic side. I may not be able to draw beautiful sketches, but I can write quotes with beautiful lettering.
The other day I was on Pinterest (hmm that seems to be a trend) and discovered that I could create my own fonts for the computer without needing a strong background in computery things or graphic design. What?! I love different fonts! Combining my love for handwriting with my love for fonts seemed too good to be true. So I tried it! I created a font with my regular, everyday handwriting. And it looks like a real font (as opposed to some DIY Pinterest-fail type font).
Now what fun would it be if I just used this font for myself? While I will definitely be using it for things in my classroom and around the house, I want to share it with you too. So I decided to offer this font to everyone as a freebie. All you have to do is subscribe to my email list and the font will be sent straight to your inbox!
Once you confirm your subscription, you will receive a final welcome email with the Love Tina Rose Classic font. Once you open the file, you just have to install it on your computer and voila, you can use your new handwritten font!
