Can you believe it is June?! I am already on my third month of bullet journaling. It has been so much fun to explore my creativity with my journal - especially playing with different styles of lettering. This month, I decided to try a few new things with my journal. I can't wait to see how they work out. Here is my June bullet journal update!

For June, I decided to play with more color. Every month, I like to pick a focal color, but this month I decided to take it to the next level. As you can see, I chose a light purple for June. It seemed nice and summery! For my monthly spread, I kept the same layout as for May because I liked the full-size calendar and the places to keep track of monthly goals and to-dos. However, this time I did all of the outlines in purple and used black for details. I really like how it worked out! Since I used my brush pens, I can still write over the dates in black and be able to read everything fine. I also decided to experiment with a few doodles, adding some flowers, since I felt like the top was a little plain. I really like how it turned out!
Last month, I switched to putting two days per page for my weekly spreads, which I really liked. In April I had three days per page and there wasn't enough room. So I stuck with two days per page, but I decided to make them vertical instead of horizontal. My weekly spreads this month are a lot more simple because I'm not tracking my habits on them (more on that later). I like how clean it looks, and I have plenty of room to write my schedules and to-dos! I also made space on the bottom to plan my dinners - this is an essential feature for me so I can plan my grocery shopping list!
I am really excited about my Gratitude Log for June! I decided to try a completely different layout. My previous layouts didn't leave enough room to write my daily gratitudes, so when I saw something like this on Pinterest, I loved the idea. I continued to use more color on this page and love how it turned out. I'm excited to see what it looks like when it's completed!
This is my favorite new feature for June! I decided to start using a Habit Tracker! I tracked a few habits during May on my weekly spreads, but the more Habit Trackers I've seen on Pinterest and Instagram, the more I've wanted to try them. I don't have many habits I want to track yet, but I left plenty of room so I can add some throughout the month. Each day I do one of the habits, I will color in a square under the appropriate date. Hopefully, by the end of June, it will be very colored in!
I'm so excited to start using my new weekly spread, gratitude log, and habit tracker! Being able to change the layout of my planner month-to-month (or even more often) to meet my needs is exactly why I decided to start a bullet journal. Every month, I have looked forward to tweaking my designs, and I can't wait until I get them just right! Although, what would the fun be if my spreads stayed the same every month?
